Marina Crossman

Reflecting Islamic culture, I used geometric shapes, built upon squares and circles to create floral motifs in an arabesque design. I used colors such as blues, gold, and white which can be found in lots of Islamic art and mosque architecture to create a pattern of unity and repetition. I displayed my pattern in a mockup of a journal.
